GET OUT OF TOWN : FAVORITE LINKS

Come on Virginia: Deliciously off-kilter commentary for those who are entirely too familiar with Hanson fan culture for their own good.

conformist (retired): A random personal favorite of mine, this page contains some lovely, high-emotion fanfic, not to mention several fine non-fiction pieces.

Create Your World: Llama, the Goddess. Llama, the Heralded. Llama, the Original and Reigning Queen of All Things Hanson and Fiction. She's so good, it's almost stupid. And she's kind of a tolerable friend, too.

Digital Epiphany (retired): Hayden changes her mind regarding what to do with this little piece of webspace roughly about every 20 minutes, but it's always good, and its always worth reading. I think it's currently an active journal of this summer's tour. Moderately insane. Highly amusing.

Dreams (retired): Blatant. Unabashed. Isaac. Hanson. Worship.

Even Angels Bite Their Nails (retired): A quiet little page that deserves some fanfare. On the brainy side of things, this page rather nicely tries to tease out the knot that is Hanson worship, and puts it into some kind of perspective. Check out the "soapbox" section.

Hanson in Clay-o-Vision: The creators of this page are my personal heroes for many reasons, but for this one above all: They were smart and cool enough to take their well-earned Netpick status and run with it. And they ran. And ran. Entirely getting away with it while still keeping their Hanson stamp of approval, they got wackier, racier and funnier than ever before. Mind that your blood vessels don't burst from laughing too hard.

Hansonfiction.com: Domain of the Regal Llama. Home to some of the finest Hanson fanfiction on the net. Sister domain to BAB.org.

A Hidden Life: Still the high watermark for intellegent Hanson commentary. Ever pondered the connection between Hanson and the Stone Temple Pilots? How about Zac's probable opinions of Boo Radley? Visit this page. You just might find out. A BAB.org hostee.

Mmmbutt: I know. I know. Smarmy. Bad. Pandering. The whole deal. But how funny is this page? The original, difinitve take on Taylor Hanson's posterior end.

Mystery Train: The best and the brightest of the newcomers in the Post TTA rash of Hanson webpages, Mystery Train couples some seriously sharp, not-to-be-messed-with commentary with ample amounts of style. A welcome addition to BAB.org.

The Outside World: Yet another amazing Hanfic gem from the now defunct Hanson Advent Calendar. Written by Rachael of RHO fame, this story is poingent, perfect, and generally kind of unknown, which is why you should go read it.

Ravi Burger (retired): From the creators of the hysterical An Abnormally Twisted Hanson Webpage comes Ravi Burger. It's a rather high-concept effort that casts Taylor as a fry-cook in a fictional fast food restaurant. If there ever was an award for the Nuttiest Hanson Page on the Net, this one would assuredly be a contender. That's a good thing. Trust me.

Rachael's Hanson Oasis (retired): See Rachael? Rachael is a goddess. Memorize. Repeat. Also a BAB.org hostee.

Space for Breathing: A lovely, lovely assortment of things, from fiction to ramblings to insights and reviews. The real charm of this page, though, is in its intimacy. It's one of the best examples of a webmaster taking this strange little universe and ultimately making it personal and using it as a vehicle for her own expression. The newest member of the BAB.org family.

Taylor Hanson is Dead (retired): Let you be warned. This page is NOT for the faint hearted Hanson fan. If you can get past the rather macabre premise, this page is insanely funny, especially if you know about the Paul is Dead happenings of 1969.

To the Past and Future Isaacs: This is literally my absolute favorite piece of the Llama's, and very possibly my favorite fanfic piece ever. And no one has ever even heard about it, never mind read it. Please. Do yourself a favor. Go read this.
