Dear World,

I like Hanson. I've actually liked Hanson for a very long time and last fall, I decided to shout my love for Hanson from the rooftops. In short, I got a website. My goal was never to make a funny Hanson webpage. It was to make a webpage that reflected our own particular take on Hanson. Basically, I just wanted to tell the Truth According to Us. I understand that that truth is a very weird place, and that every word on this page is highly subjective. Trust me. Objectivity was never the goal.

I also happen to fall into the category of "older" Hanson fan (I'm 19), and I've been told that this makes me weird. I'm not quite sure by whose standards, but weird nonetheless. That being said, I would like you to keep in mind that just because I'm physiologically well past puberty, it doesn't mean that I'm not an astoundingly big teenie. Well, I'm not a teenie in the purest sense I suppose. I don't do a whole lot of screaming. (Too tired.) I really don't have any illusion that I'll marry Taylor. (Too ugly.) But, I do hang posters and occasionally muster up enough courage to wear a t-shirt, but not often. I read Dancin' With Hanson, and I have been known to giggle.

And then there's the music. I suppose, in a perfect world, that should be the only thing I talk about on this page. I love the music. That's what keeps me here. It keeps me updating this page and worrying about the progress of the new album and waiting for Space Ghost to air. Yes, I enjoy the way they look, but I wouldn't be here if I didn't love the music. Sure. I enjoy the way *NSYNC looks, but there is nothing there worthy of commitment. Nothing worthy of 7mb of webspace. Hanson's music continues to floor me, years after the albums came out. The aesthetic element is a plus, but the music is the real meat of this deal. But yes, I'm a great big teenie, and you will see me prattle endlessly on about seemingly superficial things. But I'm a teenie who adores the whole package. Music and looks alike.

Basically, I'm a Hanson fan. I'm not perfect (gafaw) and I don't ask that you agree with me all the time. I only ask that you keep an open mind and remember to take all of this with the appropriate grain of salt. Enjoy your stay and thank you so much for tuning in.
