How are Hanson constantly able to intrigue
their fans?
How are they able to find ways to keep the
faithful busy, even during a studio absence? Well, if you've been paying attention,
you've probably picked up on a common theme in Hanson's music and public interviews:
"things you'll never know." Apparently, it's a theme they haven't dropped
for the next album either.
In the November 25, 1999 issue of Rolling
Stone, the guys mention a song Taylor wrote recently entitled, "You Never
Know." This song title got me thinking about the secrets Hanson keep and
the ones they've revealed. One of the reasons I respect Hanson is their ability to
keep a secret, and of course, as my friend Laura put it so eloquently, it's "no fun
having all the answers."
The Internet provides overwhelming temptation
when it comes to digging into people's lives, and I did not intend this page to be a forum
for scolding those budding journalists for the "Enquirer." I selected the items
on these lists based on lyrics, interviews and appearances in an attempt to be amusing.
At the same time, I believe that when we keep secrets, it's a way of showing
respect to the people we admire.
