Admit it. If not most, a large majority of Hanson fan fiction on the net is edging internet porn. Text porn, but porn nontheless. I have absolutely nothing against sex in general, so reading stories that have love scenes are fine by me. Sex is a part of life. But in my eyes, Hanson are still kids. Sure, sure, Ike is an adult, fine, but Tay is just entering that stage in life and Zac is 14. Aspen's Hanson Stories recalls one tale of Taylor and Scott Moffatt having a little too much fun when both are 15. And Aspen goes into graphic detail. (I had to hit "home" after 3 paragraphs). Have we no need for an imagination? Do I really need to hear about someone's fictional sex story between two teenagers? Is nothing sacred? Will I ever stop asking questions? God, no. My main thought about these writings is, "Ew, what if Hanson saw this?". Why would you risk having someone you've never met loose all respect for you? Bringing sex into a story for the sake of it being there isn't smart. It's stupid, to be honest. *smiles as if she enjoys the challenge of a salacious topic* And then there are those god-awful warning. "This story contains mature content". Props to those who consider teen sex mature. Major props. may you rest in peace with your Eminem albums. Porn aside, hanfic is pretty stupid in a nutshell. Here's the most popular scheme:

Girls's parents get divorced. Girl moves to Tulsa. Girl falls in love with a Hanson (more often than not the Chick Magnet) and they live happily ever after. Throw in some make-out sessions, maybe a car accident and you have your very own addition to the Hanson Fiction world.

Whoever thought up fanfiction was a certified idiot.

As was pointed out a while back by Pascalle of HansonRefuge.com to me, I sound a bit harsh. There are many wonderful hanfic stories out there, like Zac Says Tay Still Wets the Bed and Surrealistic Emotions, and I make it sound like all hanfic is horrible. It's not. Heck, I write a lot of it. I'm just saying hanporn is horrible. Many apologies.
